DESPACHO
Practiced by the Q’ero people of the South American highlands, this ceremony creates new patterns of relationship and possibility.
Participants will experience the creation of a traditional Peruvian despacho, or gift for Mother Earth, in which personal prayers and intentions for healing will be the major focus. This ancient ceremony of the Andes, utilizing natural items such as seeds, flowers, and leaves to create a mandala, allows participants to relax into a deeper connection with the healing energies of Pachamama (Earth Mother) and their own spiritual helpers. Discussion time will help with integrating and understanding the ceremony.
